CGR Creative listens to learn our clients

jasonpicnewCGR is in perfect tune with our client the Community Building Initiative of Charlotte. We both believe in listening to understand the people we serve, and we both believe in the positive effect it has on our community.

Recently the Community Building Initiative had an open forum to discuss amendment one in Charlotte, NC. The meeting featured speakers on both side of the issue, and a crowd of about 200 people wanting to discuss the issue with their neighbors.

The Community Building Initiative encouraged people on all sides of the issue to meet the people at their table and have an open mind. CBI had prepared a lot of questions and ideas for the neighbors to ask of each other to stimulate the conversation. Speakers included local religious leaders on both sides of the Amendment one issue and legal experts on the legal ramifications of such a law passing or not passing.

Questions were taken from audience members to all experts and organizers to help the people of the Charlotte community better understand the amendment they are voting on.

CGR Creative was in attendance as part of our relationship with the Community Building Initiative of Charlotte. With photographers and marketing consultants there to take in the atmosphere first hand to better promote  the next event. CGR Creative’s PR and Marketing team spent time communicating with organizers and event participants to understand what motivates them to participate in our clients cause.

Part of knowing how and what to sell knows what motivates the demand. In this case CBI offers a forum for communication for frustrated members of our community. CBI lets people open up, speak and most of all listen on key issues. The belief of our client CBI that listening is even more important than speaking out was evident at this great event. A large crowd never lost patience, came with an open mind and was the epitome of what makes Charlotte a great friendly diverse place to live.

CGR Creative love the Charlotte community and anytime our work allows us to satisfy a customer and meet the community at the same time, we are truly blessed.

CGR Creative will continue to speak to our clients customers but also listen to know what works and what inspires the target audiences of our clients.

CGR and CBI both agree that we must always listen before we speak. CGR Creative Web Design applies this in all our marketing efforts and are better for it.

As Abraham Lincoln famously said, “If I had six hours to chop down a tree, I'd spend the first four hours sharpening the axe". CGR Creative always takes this same approach of listening; learning what motivates people and applies our marketing strategy accordingly.

Jim Rogers work for a sustainable and environmentally conscious Charlotte earned him the honor, but his love for the Charlotte region earned him much more with those who had never heard him speak.

This coming year in Charlotte has huge things for those of us here to witness and benefit from the growth of our region. Charlotte residents have a new baseball stadium to enjoy a low cost all American night out with family. We in Charlotte also have the excitement and economic stimulus of the Democrat National Convention to make 2012 a huge year. The national spotlight will be on Charlotte, North Carolina this year and CGR will be out and actively a part of that effort for a Charlotte that leads our nation.

Sponsoring events like the 2012 Vision Awards and the consistent work with local programs like the Community Building Initiative (communitybuildinginitiative.org) and the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte has made CGR Creative a leader in the Charlotte Community. It is our hopes that area businesses and customers see our example and our love for Charlotte and join us in all of our ventures and visions.

CGR Creative is currently working together with the Community Building Initiative and Annetta Foard to help build a diverse and thriving Charlotte. Julio Colmenares the owner and founder of CGR Creative is actively a leader in the Hispanic community through his hard work and dedication on the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Charlotte.

Converse® Rack Room® Viral Contest by Yours Truly.

viral-video-campaignCharlotte, NC - September 7, 2011 - How do you draw a large audience to your site?  Do a viral campaign like Rack Room did.  Converse’s  “In My Shoes” Contest was a success as users in different geo-targeted areas were able to make videos showcasing the Converse product and execute quick videos and upload them to the designated YouTube channel.

Viral campaigns are a great way to analyze and target untapped market share based on the diversity of uploads and the demographic of who is actually interested in the product.  A viral contest nowadays is always a hit as it can be easily shared on other social sites like Facebook and Twitter.  It helps promote brand awareness and build brand identity with existing and new customers.

Allowing comments on blogs and video channels like YouTube can lead to increased sales.  Promotions and messages can benefit any business if done correctly.

A Few Mini-Stats: The result of the two-month campaign was 25,000,000 impressions and over 5,000 unique users. Our campaign goals were to reach 12,000,000 impressions and 3,000 unique users.

About the Latin Chamber of Commerce & CGR!

The Latin Chamber of Commerce went through a rebranding phrase and with the change of the website and all of the onsite optimization; there was a period of time where ranks had to be re-established.

charlotte-website-designCharlotte, NC - September 1, 2011 - The Board was concerned that locals would not be able to find the Latin chapter if they searched the term Chamber Charlotte, since there was no emphasis on “Latin.”. There are dozens of chapters for each Chamber, in each state; therefore it was seemingly difficult to rank for the keyword phrase, “Chamber Charlotte.”  We implemented a massive SEO campaign strategy to target the area on a local and national level to push our rank all the way to page 1 on Google and place at spot number two.  It did not happen overnight as organic ranking takes time to establish.  We felt that our strategy involved plenty of on and offsite and we knew that we had to remain highly targeted to get the results the Board was looking for in a timely fashion.

Over the course of 8 weeks, we were able to target a competitive analysis and study the other sites in order to establish presence on Page 1.  Although a difficult task, we knew that implementing an array of strategies that worked for our other clients, proved to be very successful.  We were hoping to get ranked on at least the bottom of page 1, to our surprise our hard work paid off and we achieved number 2 on Google.

We reported on every delta change that occurred throughout our entire optimization process.  We knew the Board was interested in knowing every major or minor change, every step of the way.  We were extremely happy to see that out efforts were delivering positive results on the search engines.  As part of our process, we still maintain these rankings as they can slip at any time.  Nothing is absolute in the world of SEO.  What is absolute is our dedication, resources and guarantee to get you on Page 1 and strive to get you to placement 1.  We love to engage with our clients as we had in this instance which worked to our benefit because specific events that the LACCC was holding helped us target those events organically before they transpired, offering a slight advantage to their overall rankings on other keywords.

We rank number one on several keywords that were requested of us for the LACCC and other chapters have called us and requested we deliver the same services; however, it is a conflict of interest so we are grateful that they have thought enough of us to ask for our services.

Both onsite and offsite optimization was necessary to cause a massive change in our client’s placement.  We are extremely pleased with our results and our client is very happy as well.  We continue to conduct optimization ad dedicate a great deal of time to pushing a solid, SEO plan in place and ranking for spot 1 and 2 on Google.
